online appliance store?

I am looking for all new appliances for my new kitchen. What's the best online store with good price and services?

Thanks,

Amy

I had really good success with AJ Madison.

Ditto, they are very good and if you contact them when you are ready to order, you can get additional discounts.

I was extremely pleased with my AJ Madison experience. One of the big box stores wanted more than $200 for installation of a gas range and it was going to take them 4-6 weeks to deliver it. I got exactly the same range from AJ Madison delivered in 2 days and even with the surcharge to take it up my stairs and the installation fee, it was still nearly $300 less. Wish I had bought my fridge from them...

We were pleased with Homeeverything. We bought a DW and GE Advantium from them. Everything went smoothly. We also considered AJ Madison, but for our particular appliances AJMadison was slightly more expensive. You should look at both websites. Depending upon the appliance, one website might be less than the other. Whichever you choose, you should call in the order rather than order online. That way you can find out if the item is in stock and ready to ship (often the website is not up to date on whether the appliance is in stock or not).

Also note that website purchases of appliances means "curbside delivery". The appliances will not be brought into your home, unless you pay an extra fee. For a DW it was no big deal. But if you are ordering a fridge, you may want to consider shopping locally to get the appliance brought into your home and installed. Note that many local appliance stores are very willing to negotiate on free or low-cost delivery and installation.

I just spoke to someone that did on line appliances, I don't know where. Every item came with a small problem like a dent, scratch. Yes they could return all of them but they would have to pay the shipping.

I had excellent service from EuroStoves in Boston. Living where I do (Maine), we pretty much have to have anything other than the major brands freighted in.

I used AJ Madison for an oven, but I thought the shipping was quite strange. I don't know if I would use them again. I had good success with US Appliance.

I had good luck with three different eBay appliance sellers (fridge, warming drawer, and refurbished MW). I checked their ratings and reviews carefully and also searched their names on GW to check for comments. The MW and fridge arrived on time, in tact with no hassles. The WD arrived UPS with a damaged, rattling box so I refused delivery and contacted the seller. He immediately answered my email, apologized, and sent a new unit out the next day.

I used ajmadison's site A LOT when researching appliances. Very helpful.
