Anyone have the BlancoPerforma Cascade Anthracite Super Single Undermount sink- 440064 / 515-555? That's the one with the small partition. If anyone has it, I'd love to hear what you think of it. Photos, anyone?
I love mine! I do not have a prep sink in my small kitchen and was worried about just having a single sink. There isn't anything that won't fit in there. I like the smaller part for rinsing and draining recyclables, for rinsing vegetables and I make the kids rinse silverware in it so it doesn't accidentally go down drain. It is also a breeze to clean with Dawn dish soap and if need be a little barkeepers friend. I have the biscuit but I thought I would post anyway.
I almost bought this. Have been flip-flopping - really like a standard double bowl, but now have need to soak a large one-piece grill grate that will be on my new Viking rangetop.
The Cascade's large bowl was just a couple of inches too small for that.
So, I just bought the big square Blanco Super Single with the hanging colander. That will allow me to place huge items in the sink, yet still use it sort of as a "double bowl" with the hanging colander.
I don't know if you have checked out the Elkay e-granite sinks, they make some nice looking ones too. I really liked the look of their large single bowl, but decided the curve that makes it look so nice, made the center width too narrow :(
Woohoo! I have been asking about this sink for weeks and you're the first person to respond that owns one. Yours looks lovely with that granite and backsplash. Is that a slightly negative reveal? Does water drain well through the little channel between the two parts? Would you mind terribly if I asked you to measure the larger basin at the bottom? The Blanco specs don't give those measurements.
Lindalp - we have ours on order - should be installed very soon. Cabinets arrive next week. I joke is it is like training wheels for those of us who grew up with 2 sinks and aren't quite ready to take the plunge - plus I don't have room for a prep sink, so the elevated area can be used as needed and stay a bit cleaner.
Jamrock also installed one but is super busy moving back into her house after a year!! Jamrock put her faucet in the middle.
MaryBeth - can you post a picture showing your faucet placement - I am leaning towards putting faucet at the divider (the way you did) vs in the center. Also what is the center to center reach of your faucet? I am putting in a Waterstone and I think the reach is around 8 inches
