You could do a patterned drape on one and a solid on the other-pulling one of the colors from the patterned drape. Will you actually do drapes on the sliding glass door? My house is very similarly laid out, but I don't have any drapes yet!

I've been hunting around for the right solid, and the ones that I like aren't in the same tone as the future wall colour.....I'll continue to hunt! The problem is a solid at the patio door - I've never found a suitable alternative to the patio door other than drapes (kids and cats find vertical blinds to be a hoot), but solid drapes show chocolatey finger prints etc. Maybe I should use a plastic shower curtain! hahahaha! If only they were long enough;)

Somehow, the pattern drape feels like it ought to go over the closer window (livingroom)....sigh...

decchallenged, what did you have in mind for the glass door?
