help with bathroom

Okay, I have to move on now! I have been over on the kitchen forum for sometime and my kitchen is coming along well. It is fully functional and just needs some "jewelry" to pull it all together. Part of the kitchen remodel included an update of our downstairs guest bath. I have spent so much time and energy on the kitchen I am having a hard time shifting gears to work on the bathroom. So I need some guidance.

We are not replacing the tub or the toilet. We did replace the horrible worn vinyl with Noce Premium Travertine tile (18"x18"). This bath is just down a short hall from the kitchen so we ran the flooring from the kitchen down the hall and into the bathroom. I am pleased with how this came out.

We have purchased a new vanity from a salvage building yard - Mahogany with a creamy marble top. But I can't seem to get any further than this. I don't know whether we should just carry the paint color from the kitchen and hall into the bathroom or should we consider some tile on the walls. We have lots of the travertine left and could use some of that on the walls but not sure if that would look right.

I would like to dress it up a bit and give it a serene spa like feel with a vintage vibe.

I have included a pic of the kitchen (early on in the process) to give a frame of reference of our home.

I know this is a wide open question but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am lost.
