Daybed Bedding Advice Needed

I have ordered a white iron daybed (see picture) for my 6 six-year old and wondering if I need to order daybed bedding rather than twin-size bedding. I love some of the Pottery Barn Kids bedding, but Ready-made daybed bedding for kids is just not appealing to her.

My concern is that if I get regular twin bedding, it will be difficult for her to make her own bed. I'm thinking a twin quilted comforter and 3 standard shams. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

I have a daybed I solved the problem with by draping the top sheet almost to the bottom of the bed, and folding a twin quilt over it to layer the look. (It's too hard for me to tuck the quilt behind the bed to the back, so I just fold it.) It's easy to make the bed this way, and it looks good without having to invest in daybed covers. The quilt is heavy enough to stay put, even if it's sat upon during the day. The biggest problem I have with the darn thing is getting the fitted sheet on!

I struggled for years using a daybed comforter set. When I redecorated I ended up just using a king size quilt with matching shams. It's so much easier to make the bed now.

I LOVE that daybed you picked out - gorgeous!

Daisy, I love your bed & bedding!

Beautiful bed! I haven't ventured into daybeds yet but have been looking at them for years. My daughter has her heart set on a full sized bed if we move, not sure if she wants it for kids sleeping over. If so, the daybed would be appealing to her I'm sure as it could double as a couch.

Have you looked at Penneys for the comforter? Last time I looked they had cute daybed sets.

Thank you so much for your suggestions. I've decided to order the Pottery Barn Jillian twin set and hope for the best. Thanks again!!

    Jen, that's a lovely daybed.

Daisy, I absolutely love that daybed cover and your silver sage room. Just my color palette!!

Can you tell me what color is on your dining room walls? They are also beautiful as is your entire house.

I forgot to mention that my dd's day bed has a bed skirt on it (I thought about it last night when I was putting her to bed). It is a little short, so I do need to get a longer one, but it does looks nice.

Hi, the daybed is charming! We have the Charles P. Rogers "Campaign Daybed" in a guest bedroom, it's got a tailored slipcover and decorative pillows for use as a lounge area. The sleep pillows and comforter are stored underneath it.

Kids bedding are an important factor of a childÂs bedroom decor. It is not only a kids bedding, but it is actually a reflection of your childÂs character and passion.I remember when I was looking for my children bedding. I preferred on their favorite cartoon. Like for my son I chose his favorite cartoon Bob the builder and for my daughter Disney Princess. Which I select from charactercomforts.co.uk . That make them to sleep early and which effects on their all day.
