Did you check HD again? I have 2 of these swing arms in our bedroom purchased at HD a couple years ago. I was recently at HD & noticed they still carry them. They do look identical to the LP & the price is cheaper.

I'm going to check again at HD. I was in a hurry when I was there and did not have time to ask if they had more in stock or on order.

Lamps are constantly on sale. Keep checking back if you don't come up with comparable coupons and such.

HD can usually track item down at other stores and have them transferred.

I saw a commercial today that Lamps plus was having a 1/2 off sale. I just looked at their site and of course it isn't everything.

Uh oh! Now the lamps are gone on the LP website!!! I must have jinxed them!

I went to HD last night and almost bought them (they are 42.66 each). Then I walked by the table lamp section again, and they have a new bronze lamp for 39.96 including the 3-way bulb; well I don't remember seeing it last time, so I'm assuming it's new :). The square shade is a perfect match to my coverlet (gold-ish champagne color faux silk). Sooo, instead of the 2 swingarm lamps, I just bought one of the table lamps. I just have the one nightstand and live alone, I only really needed the one lamp. I would show it to you, but it's not on their website.

I put it together, and it looks great in the bedroom! So, for now I will stick w/ just this. Once I paint and re-arrange my furniture later in the spring, I might decide to get the swing-arms, as I can move this lamp to the LR.
