My honest opinion is that it will too dark for the whole house. I love the color and definitely think you should use it in your open rooms like the great room. But maybe pick a color a few up on the strip for the whole house, then splurge once on the $250 and add the SW Java to the big open great room.

We just did a ton of SW Kilim Beige throughout with accent in the SW Latte. I'm glad we went light with darker accents rather than all dark.
