I originally thought I was going to use matte finish white subway tiles with my honed carrera and soapstone counters. But now I am thinking that the gloss finish may be a nice contrast. That is, so long as it doesn't require a higher level of cleanliness. I am not a messy person, but with very full-time job and 2 kiddos, lower maintenance is always better.

Anyone have an opinion about which is easier to keep clean and which one starts to look grungy sooner? TIA.
