    Thank you - it is a marble and I think it was called "brown stone" or something like that at the slab yard, but I don't recall exactly. I'm sorry!

      Thank you. We are redoing our brick fireplace and trying to make it more modern. I'm feeling like I will have to change everything else in the house too though.

      I've been struggling to get ideas for a modern fireplace. I don't have to look anymore. That's exactly how want my fireplace to look, and it would go really well with my hardwood flooring.
      Are closeup pics of he fireplace available, so that I can get a better idea of the edge profiles and overall design?
