Yes. it can be a challenge if the bedding against the walls is pulled out. My son has a king sized bed in the corner like this. The less the bedding is messed up along the walls, the easier it is to make. The corner headboard is gorgeous and effective. I will now do this in my son's room. A king in a 12 by 12 room doesn't leave much choice but to position it in a corner so it is worth the bed-making challenge in my case.

Why not put the bed itself on castors so that you can roll it out (which ever direction you have room to) in order to make?
