Another puppy question...

I posted several days ago about our puppy Cooper eating "treats" out of the litter box. He still does this but is getting better.

Yesterday he got in the cat box and pooped then did it again this morning. This is a new one for me. Not to mention it totally ticked the cat off. She was hacked!

I cleaned out the box so it wouldn't be so devastating for Lilly!

I have tried a covered box before and she wouldn't go in it. She doesn't like covered places. Ever since she was little when she would use her box I swear she could go for distance in litter throwing, so I tried the covered box to help with the mess and she wouldn't have any part of it.

I was just curious if maybe I should get Cooper his own little box. I would much rather he mess in a litter box then on the floor, better yet I would love it if he would go outside.

He will sit by the door and bark if he has to go outside and after he's been sleeping or right after he's eaten I always take him out. Sometimes if he's playing he will forget and mess but I truly think that just being a puppy with a little bladder.

I don't know if he's doing this to tick the cat off or if this is his way of going potty.

Any advice?
