Have you visited Zootoo? It is an animal lovers' website, much like Facebook for pet lovers. It provides pet news and reviews of products and services, written by members, so it is very useful.

Besides being fun, they are running a $1,000,000 Shelter makeover, and my local shelter, St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison, NJ, is in 2nd place!! If you join and list St. Hubert's as your chosen shelter for the makeover, it can be one of the 20 finalists for this makeover. If they move to first place, they can win $10,000. They are such a fantastic shelter, full of wise and compassionate people. I know they would use the money well. The kennels and cattery are sparkling clean and busy; the rest of the place is rather run down (the building is over 100 years old!) so it is obvious now that the money goes into to animals, not into the cosmetics.

Anyway, please take a look and consider joining, if just for the fun. There are only 4 more days left to this contest. It would be so nice for them to win.
