Please help! Pics included.

We finally got our bathroom walls and cabinets painted. Lights switched out as well. We are still planning to trim out the mirror, but I'm trying to finish the shower curtain so that it feels more done. I was given advice a few weeks ago to go with a white curtain, an idea which I really like, but then I found this one.

I feel like I never get the ideas in my head to look good in real life. The white part of the shower curtain is actually a bit off white, and the counters and cabinets are pure white. But I like the idea of a third color (tan) in the room, so it's not just blue and white. Am I way off here?

Here is the bathroom, with shower curtain-partial view in mirror. It's not a great picture, but will hopefully give you the idea.

A closer up shot: I didn't hang it, just draped it, in case it's going right back to the store.

Thanks all!

I do like the idea of a third color and the tan is lovely. It is hard to tell if the white is off on my monitor but if irl you dont like it, I would keep looking, dont settle, there are so many shower curtains to choose from I am sure you will find the perfect one.

You never know about pics online, but it looks as though the curtain coordinates with the shower tile, if so, I like it.

Thanks! I keep going in and out of the room, just to see what I think. At least I'm burning calories going up and down the stairs today, right? :) I think I like it...even though it's not a white white. Any one else have any thoughts??

I love it, the color, print and it goes so well with the tile. You picked a beauty. Nothing more boring than matchy matchy. All of these tones work together perfectly and give the room more personality.

I 'really' like it and think it looks nice in the room. The tan is a good third color that's not in your face.

I agree that the new shower curtain is a good choice. Although I can't tell from the picture, the whites don't seem too different. Your choice of wall decor and accessories can help pull everything together. Look for items featuring the tan to put opposite the shower curtain so everything relates to each other color-wise. And don't worry about trying to match things exactly (it's almost impossible to do anyway); a shade or two lighter or darker adds a little interest.

I DEF Like the new shower curtain- i would not have choose white- too boring and monatone-- also i would put a picture on the wall in picture number two - to the left-- could use something with a splash of color!! silver frame?

I, too, think it looks great. However, why don't you drape it all the way across and get the full effect of it and decide if you like it.

:Swoon: I think it is perfect. The color fits right in without screaming, or looking boring and fading away. The larger bold print makes a statement without distracting and overwhelming the small space.

Well, thank you everyone! Here's my only problem...the cabs are painted pure white and the white on the curtain is definitely off white, which you can't see in the picture or during the day. But when I turned the lights on in the room last night, it was much more noticeable.

Thank you so much for all of your kind comments and helpful suggestions. At least I now know that I do want tan as a third color, but as many of you said, not screaming in your face third color, as it's such a small space. I'll have to see if I can find a similar curtain that the white is a whiter white perhaps. Do you think?
