It depends. If Toby licks me, it usually means I have lotion or something else that tastes good on my skin. If Bina kisses me, she is greeting me. Casey usually is begging me to feed him - or to regurgitate whatever I have eaten so that he can eat, too. Wolf puppies lick their elders' mouths to get them to feed them whatever they killed and ate earlier that day.

Be ware. Constant licking can be a sign of an unbalanced mind. Most dogs lick your face because they see you as the alpha and a source of food...like wolves dog pups lick their parents faces to get regurgitated food. I know it sounds gross, but it is just part of nature. Some dogs like the salty taste of our skin as well....

She does not lick too much...when playing she will get into licking moods with hubby when he lays down for her....but its not constant or anything...but occasionally my old bully who never licked....would just come up and lick once (i was thinking of her today)...and Tootsie my new baby she will give a cute little lick every once in awhile too. She kind of looks at me and then licks once or twice. Its cute, and her breath has no smell so I don't mind :-)

When I say "give me kiss", she licks my nose. So yes, she is kissing me!

She likes lotion too.
