We also have pulls on drawers and knobs on doors, and had this same discussion when we got the pantry cabinet. The narrow door to the left of the refrigerator is a pull-out (broom storage--you can't quite see it in this photo) and it requires a bit of a tug at the beginning of the pull, so a handle is easier to use than a knob.

For consistency, then, we used the handles, vertically, on all the tall narrow doors in that area. The narrow door to the right of the refrigerator has a false handle, just for balance. That pantry cabinet opens by the two doors on the side perpendicular to the refrigerator.

The pantry doors are quite easy to open/close, and a knob would have been sufficient. If you like the look of knobs better I don't see a functional reason not to do it, except that it may be harder to hook with a pinkie when you have your hands full.

don't have a pic, but on our 24" pantry we had 1 door. so it was a big door. we bought an oversized knob that was 2/3 the size of a doorknob that matched the pulls.

I would look at the size of the door, in comparison to the knobs and see what you want. if the door is rather large a normal knob may look tiny.

We have a similar layout and put knobs on the pantry doors, as we did with the other cabinets. I had posted as to whether to put them on top or in the middle and opted for the top. We are very happy with our decision.

We are having our pantry redone with cabinets and drawers and taking out the wire shelves. I’m thinking of doing a darker finish on the drawers and cabinets for the hardware as that’s what our pendant lights and curtain rods in kitchen/living room our. Should I continue that color in pantry for knobs and pulls? Our kitchen cabinets currently have brush nickel knobs.
