Hi.

I posted earlier this month on my new Persian that I got from a rescue group. well, she had some matting and so I had her shaved except for her legs and head/neck area. She looks so cute!

Anyway, I was wondering about that sagging skin that cats get. She has a lot of saggy skin between her rear legs and then some loose skin the rest of the way up until her front legs. Has anyone ever asked a vet about this? I know it isn't necessarily due to birth because I have a female that has never had kittens that has it to an extent and I also know that males get that way too. This cat has such a large amount between her rear legs, though - probably an inch or two hanging down.

In spite of what i just said, I'm wondering though if maybe she was a breeders female or something. I'm going to the vet next week so she can see if she sees a spay scar and i'll ask her then but wondering what other people know in the meantime.
