help decorating bedroom

I am trying to do some redecorating in my bedroom. I want to paint the walls and buy new curtains. My comforter is chocolate brown and the sheets are gold. The furniture is a dark brown wood. I am looking for color ideas for the walls and curtains. ANy help would be greatly appreciated.
