Ducks do have blood in their legs and their feet. Ducks survive because they have feathers and down, they puff up their bodies allowing the air to be trapped inside their downy feathers - ever camp in a down bag and get too hot, well those down feathers come from geese. Eider geese to be exact. All birds have the abillity to keep warm this way. PS - Dont believe everything you are told - go google how ducks survive the winter.
