If I wanted to place a prep sink in a kitchen peninsula counter top so that the sink was at the free end of the peninsula and opposite from the end where the peninsula connected to an appliance garage located in a floor to ceiling cabinet, how would I vent it? I can't afford to lose undercabinet space. The peninsula will only be 5 feet long and 30 inches deep. Do I carry the vent over to the tall cabinet and hopefully up into the second floor and out the roof? Can the pipe vent go under the kitchen floor to the cabinet? I have done some plumbing so I can do the mechanical part--I just don't have experience in the planning part.
