Do you have a World Market near you? I have seen metal wall art there.

or, just thought of too......Kirkland's.

My advice is to be patient and wait until you find something that speaks to you. Don't just buy a print to fill the space. I know it's hard to resist if you have a naked wall staring at you! Some other resources are etsy.com and art.com (the second site is great because you can "see" the print framed in a space and even pick the background color that's closest to your wall color). Ballard Designs has some interesting things sometimes, too.

No Kirklands or World Market around here. Sueb, appreciate your advice to sit tight until I see something I love and not let the bare wall jump out at me and I will check out etsy and ballard.
Thanks and any other online sources apprecieated.

Kirlands has a lot of metal wall sculpture right now, but I don't know about the clear accents.

Have you looked here?

JCPenney's also has some metal wall decor

Marshalls has them from time to time, also check Lowe's, I have seen some that could go outside or inside there.

They are probably more expensive but arts and crafts shows usually have them.

Have you considered supporting a young aspiring artist? Try visiting your local college or university's art department for upcoming student exhibitions. I think this would be a much better choice than the typical mass produced "stuff" so commonly available and too often used.

I agree with jddar.

Don't feel like you have to go buy something just to "finish" wait until you find the thing that makes your heart smile! You'll know when you find it. :^)

I found this metal vine sculpture which is PERFECT above the bed.
Will follow the advice and wait it out for other things and have in mind, glass, mirrored or white ceramic items to compliment the Quietude walls and white trim.

I love when this happens. As some advised, sometimes it is best just wait for the right thing to turn up when you least expect it. I had never even thought of putting a clock on the dresser but saw this and had to have it. It is one of my favorite things about the room except for the paint color.

Thank you for all of your suggestions.
I will post a pic once I can get one to accurately reflect the colors and mood of the room. (my camera is not the best).
Thanks again!
