Why do you need paint on a new pump? Lawnmower hit it?
Anyway Pentair may have touch up paint. They do for heaters anyway. Don't take it into Home Depot, it will just embarass them.
BTW is it the 4/160 or the really cool one, that's true variable speed? Just wondering, we have only sold a few in Ft Worth and I haven't had any real feedback. The rep has one on his pool and claims it cost less than half to run, than his old whisperflow 2hp.

Now that's ANAL.

I use Rustoleum, almond colored, to paint pipes and touch up scratches and stains on Pentair equipment. I have also used Krylon almond. Other manufacturers probably have almond that's real close, too. And painting pipes isn't always some anal compunction. Here (Southern California) it is required to protect PVC from ultraviolet rays, which can seriously degrade it in just a few months.

Required? WOW! It hasn't gotten to Texas yet. I imagine it will, Texas seems to follow cali's lead. Lo Nox heaters, whisperflo pumps, quiet blowers etc. All started from Cali ordinances on pollution and noise. There's others I bet. Now I feel stupid.....lol

i colored my plumbing pipes because ours were dirty and had blue glue showing.

They hide mose equipment here. Around the corner of the house, behind a waterfall etc. Some people enclose them completely. Make sure you follow mfg recommendations on that one, especially the heater.
Our Dallas location sells clear PVC pipe and fittings and I understand a few people use it above ground. Sounds cool, I have not seen one yet.

after 4 years in nevada heat and weather parts need repainting!!! just need a color to repaint equipment and pvc piping!!
