love the backsplash, what is it called and where can I get it?

    Anywhere that you can purchase a natural Travertine backsplash tile should have this.

    this looks a little more reflective....more shiny than the "rustic" travertine found in bigbox stores

    This could be a porcelain tile by Country Floors called Brera Brick, 4x24. It gives the look -- albeit a little more refined -- and great texture of travertine, but is not porous and so works well for a backsplash. I just came upon this at a local stone supplier this weekend and plan to use it in just this application.

    ok, I figured it out by reading the questions asked from the other pictures in this series, it is from Top Cu Tile and Stone - Ivory Strips honed.
