I've inherited a D1 Lotus Bay with the purchase of a house. We've used it for several months without issues. We cleaned the filters a few times and drained and refilled once. Recently the fountain has stopped working however. In the past, it would occasionally take the fountain a few minutes to get going after turning it on, but now nothing. I took the side panel off yesterday to see if I could find out anything. The pump that engages when the fountain is turned on does not seem to be moving water very effectively. The outlet hose is clear, so I can see 6-10 inches of water sitting in the hose above the pump, but it does not rise any higher. When the pump is off, the water level seeps down a little. Also, occasionally the pump will whine when engaged. I've heard that sometimes after draining, the fountains can be troublesome, but if I remember correctly, it worked fine for a few months after I drained and refilled.
