Someone referred a carpenter to me who build decks. I know I made a big mistake in using this guy and I even told him so. He used nails in some places and screws in others. Now a board is sticking up almost middle way the center of the deck. One side of the banner is leaning inward. I want to know will it be a waste of money to have someone take the mess up this person has made and build another one. I could use the lumber already there, to build a tree house. Need your help.

The person promised to come back, but I don't think he ever will.
