sunroom decorating

I am hoping someone would be willing to help me with my sunroom decor. I would like to pull this room togther for a more finished look. Open to suggestions on table lamps and floor covering, etc. Thank you!

Some great ideas in these pictures! Grab a 'cuppa' coffee, tea, whatever. It's gonna take awhile. ;o)

My first thought was that I would put an area rug to ground the sofa. But I have questions, what do you use the room for? who mostly uses the room? Some pictures from different angles would be great also.
We have a sunroom, not as large as yours, and it is where my husband and I go to have a glass of wine before dinner or a cup of tea afterwards. It is also a favorite place to read. So it has happy artwork, a comfy love seat and chair, good lighting, handily placed perches for beverages, a throw in case i get chilly reading and plants.

Would a sisal rug look good in here? This is one of our favorite rooms in the house- reading, napping, chatting, you name it.

Maybe you could find a sisal rug, but one that is stenciled to bring more color into the space. I had several years ago in the kitchen and breakfast room (purchased from Ballard Design). You can spray with ScotchGuard if you want.

Add some patterned pillows to the sectional for more color and add some interesting (and useful) items to the coffeetable - colorful tray, box, a few books (maybe a bird book for birdwatching).

Ok so you have an amazing view out the windows, but the seating is looking at what? A coffee table?

I'm confused. It would be nice to know if you want to block the view of the trees, or the rest. What is important to you?

Well, I see pink, and I see green (end table, plants) but I don't see anything pulling the color scheme together. So I'd start by looking for a rug that has both colors in it. I don't really know your style, but this is just one example of a rug that has those colors in it. I might also look for a throw blanket or pillows in prints that incorporate those colors.

A sisal rug would just be another solid block of color, so I wouldn't go that route if it were my room. I think you need some pattern.

Throw a few magazines or books on the coffee table, too. The room looks a bit un-lived-in, if you know what I mean.

Love your plants. I might even add a few more.

Finally, I am all about eclectic looks, but the coffee table and green end table are really clashing (IMO) with that great armoire-ish piece in the corner (can't tell what it is). For me, it's less about the style and more about the wood tones. I wonder if you could stain the coffee and end tables a darker color, or even paint them? Just a thought.

It looks like a great room to hang out in! I think it just needs a little tweaking.

Thank you everyone. Please keep the ideas coming. I had oral surgery this afternoon. Will respond back tomorrow. Agree totally with the wood tone issues in the cocktail and end table so those will go.

It looks like your sunroom is elevated so I think the first thing I would suggest is rearranging the furniture to look at that amazing greenery. We have track lighting, floor lamps and table lamps. Then I'd add a rug to anchor the coffee table.

I'm sorry you had oral surgery this afternoon. Being in the dental field I'm guessing you are icing and taking pain meds tonight. Put this project off until you can really think about it more.

Here's pic of our sunrrom, where we eat, lounge and enjoy the view for at least 4 months/year. This room has evolved and will continue to change to meet our needs.
