Concrete Sealer Problems

A couple of years back, I applied Glaze 'N Seal Wet Look to my brand new stamped and stained concrete pool deck. MISTAKE!

First and foremost, it's slippery as all get out. Just today an neighbor kid took a header and got a bloody nose from the fall. He's one of ten people injured on this slip and slide over the last twenty four months.

Second, and I realize that sealer needs to be reapplied regularly but, where there is sealer still left it's blotchy and cloudy white. Someone told me that this is a sign that the concrete was not fully cured when we sealed and that this is trapped water trying to evaporate.

I'm ready to re-seal, but will not be using Glaze 'N Seal again. I'm wondering a couple of things:

1) Do I need to strip off the old sealer or can I just apply new over what's already down even though some is cloudy white? The majority of people that I talk to with stain and seal say they just reapply over the old, but one professional told me to strip it first.

2) Can anyone out there recommend a nice satin sheen sealer appropriate for wet concrete pool decks?

3) Garden Spray apply or Roller? The man on the street interviews that I've done are split down the middle 50/50 on this topic. I applied the current sealer using a garden sprayer.

FYI, I used Rhino Grip on the coping and it's the worst looking part of the whole deck. Yes, I shook the heck out of it as I applied per the manufacturer's instructions.

Thanks in advance -
