My guess is that they'll stay at this level unless your willing to pay to have them moved to the correct depth elevation. This will cost big bucks.
Your spa jets should have been placed at 12" below the beam which ends up being 9" of water depth, your spa seat should be 21" below the beam which is 18" of water depth,
this places your jets halfway down.

This will only be an issue if you don't want jets that hit you slightly above the rump or or are unwilling to pay to have the raised. I'm certain that your plumber placed them at the wrong level and the guniters shot them where they were.

My suggestion is to dismiss them and look forward towards completion.

Thanks for your response, Kelly. Actually, the plumber is the PB's plumber. Everything for this build is in-house, so if a mistake was made they need to pay to fix it. I went with your suggestion of South Shore Pools in Massachusetts, and they have been mostly good to deal with. Sounds like they'll have to make this fix either physically or financially since it was their error. Thanks for your thoughts. The pool looks great otherwise.

Hello, I know this post was 15 years ago, but we are having the same problem with our pool spa build. The jets in the back of the seat are very low. Were you able to get yours fixed?

Hi Karen. Count us in with the problem also of jets being too low after shotcrete. the jets were corrected by the PB before plaster, but a year later we have water leak issues.
