I have oak floors throughout my entire house as well, and I used Benjamin Moore's Stonington Gray. It looks lovely with the wood. You have beautiful floors!

I have red oak flooring and I used BM Revere Pewter. I like it because it's light, a nice mix of taupe/gray, and it goes well with my cream/ivory drapes.

Those are very pretty, neutral floors. You can do anything you want with them. :)

Thanks! I like the floors alot! The actual color is much more orange/red. My DH says they are too red for gray---but he's a scientist too!!! hopefully we'll get better at this!

Since when does orange/red NOT go with gray? Pretty classic combo....:))

Gray's great with orange and red tones. Another shade to consider is Benjamin Moore's Edgecomb Gray. It's a pale warm gray, very soft, nice in varied light conditions.

Prob more important than the floors is your exposure in certain rooms. You might not even want a gray in a north or east facing, darker room. If you do, you'd prob want a warm, beigy gray as suggested above.

Gray is a neutral too :c) Your floors are very similar to ours and I can't think of any color that wouldn't look great with them.

Try BM Grant Beige, a beigy/greenish/gray.
