our pool is 27 years old (lots of the parts/pieces have been replaced) don't know about the underground plumbing though

bubbles have been coming out of the water returns today and yesterday, can't tell that there are any other problems

i've read enough to know what it could be (seals,pump problem, underground plumbing problem)

i'm not worried about getting it fixed, dh was an instrument tech-years ago and a production mgr at a huge chemical facility for many years also-so he can probably fix whatever it is

my question is, should i turn it off, leave it running?

dh is out of town until NEXT Friday and i don't want to cause him undue worry/nor do i want to cause more/bigger problems
