My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What are Depth of Counter Tops where Bar Stools are located?

What depth did you use for the overhang where the bar stools are located? Can you suggest what you consider to be the ideal depth for comfort? Thanks!

      These are fairly deep because the island is 5' wide. You definately don't need this amount of depth to be comfortable. 12" should be adequate for most people. Thanks!

      Did you need the apron under the counter for support since it is so large or was it just for looks? This is truly a standout island! I love it and trying to something similar in our new home.

      The apron was more for extra support for the wood posts...not so much for the countertop. It just helped stabalize the posts. And it does look nice more like a table. Thanks and good luck!
