Anyone using hartstone for cool decking?

Hello everyone.

We are in the process of building a pool and have to soon choose all the coping and decking around the pool. I have special needs with my feet and heat is a major obstacle. I also cannot stand on a rough surface. My pool builder is recommending a product called Hartstone. I cannot find a lot about it online except on the manufacturer site - hartstonetile.com. I is supposedly specially designed to be cool. It is supposed to look like "ancient roman limestone", although in some pictures it looks like cement. It's very expensive...so I am trying to decide if it's better to go with Hartstone or with a smooth travertine. I also read here that travertine is good because it doesn't retain too much heat. Is this true even for the noche' color? We don't live in an area that we can get away with the really light stone...especially with dark brick.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

S
