I like them both... depends on the style of the room. Both have nice lines, though.

I really like both beds the Hudson bed is more masculine with the straight likes and the Sleigh bed is more feminine with the curves. I guess it just depends on the look you are going for.

I much prefer the Hudson bed. The sleigh looks very heavy at the headboard end, and the rest of it looks like it was the platform and legs of a simple scandinavian bed.

Thank you for your input. I really don't like the sleigh bed as much, but didn't know if I should stick with the other furniture we have. Is it bad to have a masculine bed?

I think it's easier to feminize a masculine bed than vice-versa. Unless your bedroom is pink lace & ruffles, that Hudson bed would be very nice.

I love the Hudson Bed so much.

I never thought of the hudson bed as masculine. I like it.

The sleigh bed has no foot board, which just seems a bit odd to me. I'm used to a sleigh bed having both a head board and footboard. I'm generally not a big fan of the sleigh style any way, so the sleigh style that is missing half just seems a bit odd to me. Its all personal preference.

Can you post a picture of the room the bed would go in? That will make a difference in preference.

I love the curves of a sleigh but the proportions on this one don't flow. I think the headboard is too tall and massive for the rest of the bed. Looks better in the more made version, but the proportions still look odd or abrupt.

The Hudson is very handsome, and using some feminine bedding, pillows, or other touches with it would be pretty. Kind of a Lauren mix of leather and lace, which I personally love : )

thanks~

Here is the bedding we have. Does that make a difference. The wall color is the same as this picture as well.

I think it would look great with the Hudson. A very handsome, sophisticated, tailored look : ) Something a dh would be happy with too.
