I must not have drained my Surface Centrifugal Pump before the first hard freeze. It now has a crack along the face, most of the way across the pump. (flotec, 2hp)
Can anyone suggest a repair? There isn't that much pressure inside, unless I shut off the water lines.
I'm thinking JB Weld?
Maybe a marine epoxy? It might be nice if it was a sealant, for flexing? I took the pump apart. The material is 'Fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic pump housing'.
Any ideas? Thanks!
