Hello,
I just purchased an Emerald Jacuzzi - I really like it and it's in excellent condition. I went to see it in operation before purchasing. One thing I can't remember, and it's the one and only problem I'm having. I don't remember trying the "blower". All the "jets" speeds work fine, as does the circulation pump. Lights come on fine. But - when i press the "blower" pad, I get about 5 seconds of mountains of bubbles before the GFCI trips. Since everything else works, is this likely the blower itself? Would it be safe to use the tub if I unplug the blower connector from the control board? I understand a lot of newer tubs are no longer using blowers as they waste energy (by losing heat).

thanks much!
