My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Moving back into my Kitchen!

This is just a little shout out to my GW TKO friends. My kitchen is mostly done and I have spent the last few days moving back in. I can already tell it is going to be soooo wonderful. I can't wait to put the last of the stuff away and really break it in. While at my sink in the island, I told my husband that I felt like the captain at the helm.

Here is a photo of the ugliness moving back in. What a disaster! I don't think you can even see the beautiful granite that I feel heart-stopping-in-love with. As with all moving, it gets way worse before it gets better.

I'll wait to take real photos and do the final reveal when the backsplash is in, pendant lights are up and perhaps when we have island stools and furniture in the keeping room but the last two aren't coming for 4-6 weeks so I don't know if I can wait that long to share.
