Alk Increase,pH Up and Down are OK. Everything else is crap.

You didn't say what kind of sanitizer you are using. If you are using granular chlorine (cal hypo) it may seem pricier at the pool stores but the chlorine percentage is much higher in the pool store only brands so really it is a wash price wise. Personally I prefer to buy the highest chlorine percentage product I can find (usually 68-73%) as those buckets aren't exactly light to load and unload.

Thank you for the responses. My system includes a SWG and an Ultra Pure ozonator. Later it will also include a Nature 2 purifier. The specific products on which I noticed a price difference so far were pool shock and a filter cleaning product. I have cleaned the filters once, and I just used low pressure water until they were white again.

What about pool salt? Our local pool store charges 11.50 for a 40# bag while Home Depot's pool salt is 6.39. The only difference I see is that the HD salt is not as fine so it takes a minute to dissolve.

Make ABSOLUTELY sure that the HD salt is pure salt, no additives.
