we have a new acrylic (spraydeck) knockdown deck around the pool. the installer did a 2 step process. 1st step was a primer and then a week later he applied the acrylic stain. it came out fine except for the fact that it does not clean up easily. if dirt gets on the deck hosing it off will not completely remove the dirt. i have to take a brush with soap/water to get rid of the dirt stain. i thought that acrylic decks were suppose to be very good as far as cleaning up easily. should the installer have applied a sealer which would make the deck more stain resistant? also,is spraydeck usually a 2 step process? also, will a sealer give the deck more of a wet look and how much should a sealer cost? and is a sealer usually part of the application process?
