Not odd at all. You can even wear a bathing suit while sitting in those chaise lounges and it isn't weird. I've got two on my deck. No pool.

I have two on my deck...no pool...and its my favorite place to read in the summer!!! Enjoy it!

I have been considering getting two chaises longues for our patio. No pool, but to me, that doesn't seem necessary at all. I think it would be lovely to sit back, relax, and open a book. However, I am willing to admit that, chances are, Iwill end up doing more snoozing than reading. :)

Chaise lounges are great for reading, napping, and appreciating blue skies and life, with or without a pool.

I have two on my patio and no pool. Love them for reading and relaxing!
