Double Spinach Parmesan Casserole

The spinach and cheese blended together make a very flavorful dish.

Estimated Times:
Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients:
2 packages(12 oz.) STOUFFER'S frozen Spinach Soufflé
2 packages(9 oz.) STOUFFER'S frozen Creamed Spinach
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
2 cups soft breadcrumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:
THAW spinach souffle in microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) 6 to 7 minutes.

THAW creamed spinach in microwave at MEDIUM (50% power) 5 to 6 minutes.

COMBINE spinach, egg, and 1/2 cup cheese; spoon into a lightly greased 11- x 7-inch baking dish.

BAKE at 375°F for 40 minutes or until set.

STIR together breadcrumbs, butter, garlic powder, and remaining 1/2 cup cheese. Sprinkle over spinach mixture, and bake 10 more minutes.
Serves: 8

Thanks for the quick response. That is not the recipe (mine didn't have the creamed spinach in it), but I am certainly saving this one. We love spinach.

I don't think the one below is it either but it's from the Stouffer's site but named differently.

Someone posted this recipe one time-always thought I would try it but never have:
Spinach Cheese Bake
1# small curd cottage cheese
3 eggs, beaten
1c cheddar cheese, grated
3T butter, cut into bits
1 Pk frozen spinach, thawed and drained
3T flour
Salt to taste
Combine cottage cheese, eggs, cheese and butter
Add remaining ingredients. Stir well
Place in buttered baking dish 2" deep (6x8)
Bake at 350° for 45-60 Min.

Update on the recipe I posted. This should definitely teach me about posting non-T&T recipes.....

I made the one I posted, and it was just okay. Not great, not even good. Just okay. I wouldn't waste the ingredients on this one again.

Well, it looked good & fit the description of the recipe requested.

I thought the same thing, Ginger. Maybe I just don;t like Parmesan and spinach... or maybe I just don't like really processed foods. I thought this might be a quick and easy way to make a spinach casserole but it just tasted off to me. My family all took one bite and looked at me and said this was one of the worst things I had ever made. That doesn't happen often at all LOL! I ended up tossing the rest.

Oh well.....

I love Parmesan cheese and spinach-for me they just go well together. I never buy the Stouffer's spinach products though so maybe it just doesn't go with those products? Did you use fresh grated Parm cheese?
