I just chop up a couple of them very fine & mix in the meat with a little of the sauce they're in. I use Jack cheese if I want to make it a cheeseburger & always with a slice of onion - red onion if you have it. Use some salsa instead of ketchup.

Try adding a little roasted garlic puree and minced green onions to the mix along with the Chiptole's.
Also if you live somewhere that you can find fresh roasted green chiles,(Nu-Mex,Big Jim,etc.)put one and a slice of Pepper Jack cheese on a regular burger with a toasted bun. Canned chiles will work in a pinch but not nearly as good.
