LOOKING for: cantaloupe bread

i have misplaced my copy of this and have some melon that may need to be used. the recipe i had came from marlen but i remember when she posted, several others had similar recipes from a bed and breakfast and another source. if anyone has one they like, i'd appreciate seeing it--thanx!

san I have this one of Marlen's. Might it be the one you are looking for? It is very good and oh so moist! I have a cantaloupe that needs dealing with , thanks for the nudge!

MarlenÂs Cantaloupe Bread

3 eggs, beaten
1 Cup vegetable oil
2 Cup granulated sugar
3 Tsp pure vanilla extract
1 Cantaloupe (about 2 cups of puree)cut into 2" chunks and pureed
3 Cup all-purpose flour
1 Tsp salt
1 Tsp baking soda
3/4 Tsp baking powder
2 Tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 Tsp ground ginger
1 Cup chopped walnuts

Mix eggs, oil, sugar and vanilla. Add pureed cantaloupe to mixture. Sift dry ingredients. Add to liquid. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9x5 loaf pans (or spray them with Baker's Joy). Bake 325* for 1 hour or until done. Check after 50 minutes. (I find it takes longer)
