all I can say is use only two but just keep in mind that it covers the entire area. Make use of technology because now a days we are getting high beam focus lights.

I think it depends on how wide your mirror is. If the mirror is not too wide the two light will work fine I think.

I agree with newdawn. If the mirror is long, a 2 light fixture would not be the correct scale. I know there's a formula to use which determines what size fixture to use, and it has something to do with the length of the mirror divided by ? Maybe someone out there remembers.

Thanks newdawn. i really like it too. when you say wide, do you man length? my mirror is approx 31/2 feet long and about 21/2 feet high.
