Are your fondsue pots for meat/oil fondue or for melted cheese.
If theya re for oil, then you could cook slices of beef or shrimp or veggies and serve with marinara type of dipping sauces....and if they are cheese fondue pota, you could use Italian type cheeses and use Italian breads for dipping....

Just use your favorite spaghetti sauce, add some finely ground sausage or beef that has been browned. Then add a mixture of 2 to 1 ratio of good sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheeses into it until the cheeses have melted. We always use french bread to dip with this.

How about this classic Italian "warm bath"?

BAGNA CAUDA

(3 oz) Jar Anchovy Fillets
1/2 Cup Milk
35 Medium Garlic Cloves, Smashed And Peeled
1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter
1/2 Cup Olive Oil

Raw Cleaned Vegetables For Dipping

Place the anchovies in a bowl with the milk and let sit for an hour. Drain and pat dry. To heat in a microwave oven, place the butter, oil and garlic in a glass or ceramic casserole dish. Add the anchovies to this mixture, cover with plastic and cook on high for 6 minutes. Uncover carefully and blend in a blender or food processor until smooth.

To serve for a party, place in a small chafing dish or fondue pot and offer a selection of fresh, raw vegetables and chunks of crusty bread.

I decided...i have a recipe the kids love for PIZZA SOUP i made it and didnt add the water so its thick I did add a bit of Cabernet to adult it up a bit Im looking foward to the reactions So it really aint Fondue its mozzarella cheese infused with pizza goodies!
