LOOKING for: Ingredient: Maple Cream

I have a jar of maple cream purchased at a maple festival some time ago (several years, I think). It has been in the refrigerator this whole time, so I'm assuming it's still good. Problem is, I have no idea how to use it other than as icing on cookies. Does anyone have some recipes using maple cream they can tell me about?

Lori, I love maple cream. It's basically whipped maple syrup, in spreadable form.

I don't use mine in anything becuse it's pretty expensive and I don't use it as icing because it doesn't "set up" or get solid like icing or frosting.

Mine is used as a spread on toast, on pancakes, on biscuits. It's especially good on maple nut scones. Yum.

I like to make gingerbread with chopped dried apricots, craisins and golden raisins in it and spread maple cream on top. Mmmmmm

No recipes, sorry. DH and I moved from NH a year ago and brought some supplies with us. We use maple cream on English muffins, toast, waffles, etc. YUM!
