According to Cook's Thesaurus:

"peanut butter chips Substitutes: chocolate chips OR butterscotch chips"

But that's not going to give you a peanut butter flavor.

thanks for posting Ginger, I may try the almond bark with some peanutbutter and pray for a good result, these are so good, just can't get the ingredients to so many of my recipes here like when I was living in the states. rose, I think you could use almond bark and peanut butter. I've done that in a pinch when making Fantasy Fudge, which calls for chips and marshmallow cream and it came out fine.
