Looking for Zero Radius Undermount Sinks ( 10' deep

Hello!

We are planning to remodel our kitchen and I just started looking at kitchen sinks. I really like the look of the zero radius single bowl undermount sinks, but they all are 10 inch deep. And I am only 5'tall! That is just too deep for me. Can anyone suggest a model that fits the bill? I think I saw a post on this topic about a year ago and I am looking for an update.

Ticor is fairly popular and available at Galaxy Tool Supply. Another popular brand, and the one I purchased, is Kraus. Available at Overstock.com, expressdecor.com, etc.

    Happy searching, Dean

Julien sinks come in different depths I believe. I'm 5'3" and our Julien sink (30" wide/long and 0-radius corners) is 10" deep. It's fine for me (and DH). We use a sink grid (Julien/matching), which does help raise things up higher from the bottom.

I have a 21 x 16 Julian zero radius sink, 10 inches deep with matching grid. I love it. True, it's pricey, but Julien makes a stunning sink.

Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I should consider the 10" depth. I did a search for Julian sinks and they are indeed beautiful. But the price is really high (about $1000 for a 31 x 18). Can anyone recommend a site to get it for less or another brand? Has anyone heard of IPT? They make a 32 x 19 x 10 for $499 and that price includes the matching grate.

We got our Julien from Hardware-Designs in Fairfield NJ. We ordered ours in 2006, so I don't know how the pricing is now. When we'd gotten ours, they had recently lowered their prices to be more competitive (in the US?). Also included with the Julien (at least at that time) was the SS drain/strainer basket/assembly--some manuf. require to purchase those separately. The grid was extra, BTW. If you call them, ask for Sean--he's fantastic!

My parents got an Artisan sink (as part of a kitchen "refresh" project). They are very happy with it as far as I know. When I looked up Artisan for them, there were only favorable reviews. I don't know if their Chef Pro line is 16g or 18g but I'm sure you could find out.

I saw that Blanco has a few, but I didn't see any less than 10".

We had the same issue, as my wife thinks 10" is too deep and hard on her back. Unfortunately none of the cheaper options (Kraus, Ticor) come in anything but 10" depths. We ended up with a Kindred sink split 70/30. Large bowl (18") is 9" deep and smaller bowl (11") is 8" deep. Apparently great quality. You can get them with either zero radius, or slight (10mm) radius, which was our preference.

Yes, the price was a bit steep. We did find them cheaper on the computer, BUT, when I researched those cheaper prices, here's what I found: The places listing the cheaper prices may have old stock, seconds, no customer service person other than computer email contact or they may not be authorized by Julien. For us, we ordered thru our plumber who went thru a very reputable wholesaler who was a confirmed dealer of Julien products. This means problems can be dealt with professionally and we won't have to lose our relationship with the plumber if something goes south. No way was I spending that kind of money on a sink they were just going to 'leave on the porch' if no one was home to sign for the box!! For us, the extra 30% cash output was worth it for peace of mind and future relationships with our contractors.
