Blum Tandem Blumotion (although they are undermount). Prefer them to accurides.

That's part of my problem. I am using the Tandems w/Blumotion on all of the drawers but thought the Accurides would be better (and cheaper) for the pull-out trays. The Blum's are much smoother and quieter and I think they are spoiling me. Anyone know if the Accurides will "break-in" and quiet down a bit?

I have accuride and tandem and solo (both the latter made by Blum) in my kitchen, and I do feel that the solo and tandem move better than the accuride. I know it is odd to have three different types, but I wanted accuride for the really large pot drawers because they are side mounted, full extension, have a higher weight rating than full extension blums, and were a LOT less expensive. They are quiet, but NOT self close, and I need to give them a little push to close all the way, but that means they never slam. They are model #3832. They did "break in" and move even better when there is a reasonable amount of weight in the drawer.

Seems like you're running into the difference between "self" close and "soft" close. Maybe you should do just full-extension without the awful self close. There's many brands out there for that.

Don't use Dynaslide. They are self closing... more like self slamming. Hate 'em.
