I have another post detailing my countertop installation woes, but wanted to update and have a question.

I sent a third email to my fabricator and received a response back just now. They want the original installer to come out tomorrow and look at this mess. I've sent detailed pictures along with the issues, but I do want someone to see it firsthand. Is this normal procedure to send out the person responsible for creating these issues? I don't even want the guy in the house let alone allow him to make the required fixes. Anyone who does such shoddy work, I don't trust him at all. Can I request him NOT to come out and ask for someone else?

I definately want my GC to be at this meeting, as all monies went through him and he won't be back in town until April 23. Am I unrealistic to expect my GC to be here? Also, I cannot take off work Thurs/Friday..I own a business and will be working 12 hours both those days.
