If you want to hang them (allowing for the header on the drapery) to the ceiling, then you would need the longer drapery. The room is 96 inches in height. You might have to have them shortened just a bit, depending on how you are hanging them.

I had the same dilemma. I bought the longest panels, ripped out the casing and heading and folded it over enough to make a large (9-1/2") casing and hung them back up. I can't remember what length they actually were, but I love the looks of the large casing because it looks as though the fabric is softly gathered over the rod. I'll take pix later and post them for you. I just finished them recently.

You don't see the hem or casing stitching hardly at all in real life. The fact that I've not steamed them yet doesn't help. I've been sewing lately so just keeping up with laudry, dishes and house work is difficult enough. You CAN see what I was talking about above though. Oh, and the walls will be painted to match the WTs this weekend. It's a work in progress.

Sorry to hijack, but justgotabme, if those are stereo speakers on top of the curtain rods, have you heard of the flat speaker wires? They're paper thin, self-adhesive, and you paint right over them. Three companies are Gecko, Taperwire, and Southwire/Flatwire.

What a neat idea! And yes, they are speaker wires. We'll be hiding them in crown and beams when we get to that part of finishing that part of this room. We may just have to try this neat wire until we do that though. THANKS!
