Hi, what color is your flange that came with your GD? Wouldn't it be SS? And what finish are your fixtures? I replaced mine with ORB but that's because I have ORB fixtures and a black siligranit sink. If I had a SS sink I wouldn't have bothered. I bought mine off e-bay.

We bought two flanges/strainers from Blanco to go into our black silgranite sink. The strainer side came with a gorgeous stainless flange and the disposal side I guess wanted us to use our old disposal flange, which was dull looking. So I went up to Home Depot or Lowe's and found one for a few dollars. I only used the flange or ring part of it; I'm using the Blanco strainer thing inside of it and it's much better than the insinkerater one.

I ordered matching disposer flange, disposer and sink strainers from Mountain Plumbing for my Blanco sinks. I was told that Blanco didn't make a strainer to fit the disposer and I wanted everything to match (stainless finish). Their flange and strainers come in about a dozen finishes, but they are a little pricey. Quality is good, though.

A word of caution - if you order a new flange, be sure you get one that works with your disposer model. There are at least 2 main styles and they are not interchangeable.
